We are incredibly proud of our pupils who were entered into the National Youth Monologues Competition, a nationwide event giving young people from across the UK the opportunity to showcase their acting talent.

Thanks to the dedication and passion of Mrs Byng, our students were able to take part in this fantastic opportunity, and their hard work truly paid off! We won a Regional Commendation in the Schools category, recognising the quality of performances and commitment shown by everyone involved. This is no mean feat as the standards are very high.

This achievement is even more impressive given that it took place during an exceptionally busy period, alongside Drama exam preparations and rehearsals for our whole-school production of Frozen. It was a wonderful chance to highlight the breadth, depth and excellence of everything we do within the Drama department.

Without Mrs Byng’s tireless organisation, recording, and facilitation, our students would not have had this opportunity. A huge well done to all involved!
