Our Hockey enthusiasts at St. Cuthbert Mayne School have been buzzing with excitement as the season kicks off once again!

The after-school hockey club is proving to be very popular across all year groups with over 45 students training on a Wednesday afternoon.

A team of Year 9s and 10s participated in their first Central Venue League tournament of the season last week and started off with a fantastic win against TGGS. This win was followed by some very close games against Kingsbridge and TGGS A team.

Well done to all players, but a particular mention to Hope who was awarded Player of the Day!
