Thirteen of our Year 11 GCSE French students recently visited the University of Exeter as part of the ‘Languages for All’ outreach project. The aim of the project is to highlight the benefits of learning a language and inspire students to continue studying languages at A Level and beyond.

During the visit, our students discovered the range of languages offered at Exeter, enjoyed a taster lesson in Russian, took part in a careers and opportunities networking session, and explored the campus on a tour led by student ambassadors.

Our pupils were fantastic ambassadors for St Cuthbert Mayne, and it was wonderful to see them experience life as university students and gain insight into higher education in action. A huge thank you to University of Exeter for hosting us!
