Our Sixth Form students headed to London to learn all about the UK voting system, had a guided tour of Parliament to see the House of Lords and House of Commons, and, used their creative thinking when they were tasked with creating and presenting their own political parties to one another.
“It was a great experience, and as we are coming up to voting age, it got me thinking about the importance of voting and who I might vote for in the future.” Oliver, Year 13.
The day didn’t stop there! Students also got to explore London, with highlights including trips to the LEGO Store and the Natural History Museum.
