We did it! We’re incredibly proud to share that we have won the Silver School Mental Health Award from the Carnegie Centre of Excellence for Mental Health in Schools, building on our Bronze award in 2022.

This award celebrates our whole-school commitment to mental health and wellbeing, from working closely with NHS support teams to resilience training, peer support, staff wellbeing initiatives and embedding mental health across school life.

Our Headteacher James Down said “Achieving Silver shows that mental health and wellbeing are firmly embedded in our school culture, curriculum and policies, benefiting both students and staff.”

Assistant Head and Mental Health Lead Tracey Dearling added “This has been a massive team effort and recognises the excellent work already happening across our school community.”

A huge thank you to our amazing staff, students and partners who made this possible. Mental health and wellbeing truly sit at the heart of everything we do.
