We are really pleased to share that a group of our students entered the National Youth Monologues, and all received Commended Awards! This is a huge achievement, as more than 4000 young actors from across the UK entered the competition.

Our students demonstrated incredible dedication and creativity throughout the process, working hard to develop and perform their monologues to such a high standard. Taking part in a national competition of this scale is an achievement in itself, and we are immensely proud of the professionalism and talent they showed. Their success is a wonderful reflection of both their individual commitment and the strength of the performing arts at St Cuthbert Mayne.

We’re also delighted to share that, as a result of the students’ hard work, we have been nominated for the School & Group Prize. This nomination recognises the outstanding work being produced by our school and students, as well as the commitment shown in supporting our young performers.

We will find out this weekend if we have won, so please keep your fingers crossed for us!
