Showcase your work

This year’s A-level coursework challenged students to recreate a rock band’s song, requiring them to plan, direct, and collaborate—essential skills for any career.

Despite not knowing how to play an instrument or sing a song, their impressive editing with Adobe Premiere Pro would lead you to think otherwise!

Students also created their own promotional websites using WordPress and enhanced their photo editing skills with Photoshop to showcase their bands.

With 30% of their overall grade attributed to this project, students not only become proficient using industry-leading software, but they also have fun whilst doing it!

Beyond the classroom

Ever wanted to know what actually goes on behind the scenes of TV and radio, what they do and how they do it? Well this years A-level students did exactly that when they visited the BBC Southwest television centre in Plymouth.
