The 16 to 19 Tuition Fund

Both GCSE resit English and Maths students are already taught in small classes for 2 hours per week which run alongside their other A-level courses. In addition to this, the 16-19 Tuition fund will allow the following interventions to occur:

• Small group intervention sessions, groups no bigger than 4, by a 16-19 tutor in English
• Small group intervention sessions, groups no bigger than 5, by a 16-19 tutor in Maths
• The use of digital resources for English through the Seneca platform
• The use of digital resources for Maths through SPARX platform

We are also investigating the possibility of allowing resit students to
attend GCSE classes if available as well as attending after school
revision sessions.
