If you are looking to pursue a career in the business environment or maybe hope to set up your own business one day,  this may be the course for you.

Our BTEC Business Course aims to prepare you for the fast-paced and constantly evolving world of business, ensuring they acquire the commercial knowledge and skills you need to work in business or establish their own enterprise.

This course will prepare you with the skills you need to pursue further study on Higher Apprenticeships or at University.

The course blends classroom learning with self-directed study. You will be required to research, plan and execute events that will give you realistic experience in the world of business.
There will also be opportunities outside the classroom to help and support your learning such as organised excursions to local business, and Work Experience.

ASSESSMENT:

This course is mainly coursework based with specific elements tested externally in January and June.

This Course can be taken as part several of our pre-designed pathways, such as our Enterprise, Finance & Hospitality Pathway.
